Colin Lawson #906 Press Releases

CRC gives Lawson a hand at 2010 Safari

Anyone who has ever chased sponsorship for an ATV race event of for their own ATV racing endeavours would know just how hard it is to get support, especially now while the North American motorsport industry is suffering so badly from the GFC. This difficulty was at the forefront of Can-am X-Team manager Mick Andrewartha and X-Team rider Colin Lawson's minds when Col decided to enter the 2010 Australasian Safari, arguably the most expensive quad race in Australia. Accessory suppliers were happy to assist with product, thanks to Col also being the owner of Extreme Motorcycles in Atherton, NQ, but the bigger bucks seemed to be nonexistent, that was until 47industries sponsor CRC stepped up to the plate.

Lubricant and corrosion prevention legends CRC have had a strong alliance with 47industries for several years now, regularly offering support to ATV race events like the Thumb Pump 300 and the Hyden Ironman, and being a major supporter of the Can-am X-Team. They also support top Aussie riders like Ryan Lancaster and former X-Team rider Paul ‘Smitty' Smith, so it was no surprise when they offered major assistance for Col to make his first attempt at bringing home a trophy at Safari this year.

A massive thankyou goes out to CRC from Smitty and Col for their support or their 2010 Safari campaigns, and a special thank you to Ian Maidens and Neil Goodings from CRC Industries for showing their support for Aussie ATV racing by making this support happen.

Support those who support our industry.

Thanks CRC
