The following day from the Tumbulgum Speedway, the 3rd of April 2011, I entered into the Tumbulgum Natural Terrian Motocross event, open quads grp 2 organized also by Willie Thomson and he didn't disappoint. With a fast track, sweeping bends, jumps and a two lane first corner the event was enjoyed by all.
The Canam DS 450 was faultless handling everything I could throw at it throughout the three races. Not getting the best of starts in race 1, ending up mid pack at turn one I had to battle my way through to finish with a third place.
The second race I got my start down arriving at the first corner 3rd, on the way out I got turned around ending up on top of a burm. With a test for the Canam DS 450 and the bit between my teeth, I clawed my way back to a fourth place finish.
The third race I was determined to find some clear air, fourth out of the first corner and the race was on. At the flag a strong second place finish.
