Pete Middleton #12

Pete Middleton from Newcastle, NSW has been competing in motorsport for over 25 years and has raced everything including: Motocross, Stadium Cross, Flat Track, Super Motard, Barefoot Drag Racing behind drag boats, Jet Ski's in both the Sport Class and Marathon Racing, and Motorcycle Road Racing. These are just a few of his pursuits. If it has an engine, Pete will race it. Although Pete enjoys a social ride every now and again he says "there's nothing that can beat the adrenalin rush and the challenge you get from competitive racing not to mention the great friends you make along the way"

In every competitive sport Pete has taken on he always seems to make it to the podium at the end of the day. Pete has been known over the years as "Mr Consistency" his sporting achievements have seen him win a few Australian Championships and his Jet-ski Racing took him all the way to the World Championships for his class.

For the last few years Pete and his boys have thrown all their energy into Motocross. Although Pete and the boys race 2 wheelers, his love is Quad Racing on Motocross Tracks where there are heaps of jumps. Pete says "there's no greater feeling than executing motocross jumps well or lining someone up on the track and taking them through the corners" .

Petes 1st season with the Canam X Team racing a Can Am DS450XMX has been very successful winning the Tri State series and Victorian Title, 3rd NSW Open, 3rd at the Nationals in SA and podium finishes at every race meeting bar one. This can be attributed to reliable equipment and backing from a very professional Can Am X Team. The X Team provides Pete with motivational and technical support needed to win races. Petes love of the sport has definitely been handed down to his 2 sons. Petes eldest Daniel will be competing in the 300cc class and looks good for a podium at the 2010 Nationals. 9 year old Zac got his first taste of quad mx in 2009 and is showing a lot of promise with excellent race craft and mechanical diagnostic skills.

Pete turns the big 50 in 2010 and will again be competing in the 45+ Vets class on the Can am DS450XMX. He is looking forward to another successful year with X Team support.
