Mitch Van Vliet is a Pro Motocross and Off Road rider with the Australian Can-am X-Team. He has been racing motocross on 2 wheelers since he was 4 years old, then one-day his dad brought a quad home and the rest is history. The Van Vliet family is one of the biggest names in ATV racing in Australia and Mitch is the oldest of 4 brothers, all of which race quads.
Out of juniors and into the Pro Class ranks of Aussie quad MX, Mitch was straight away a force to be reckoned with in his home state of Victoria. This year Mitch will be tackling the Finke Desert Race for the first time, along side his little brother Jake, also an X-Team rider. Mitch is also out to regain his crown from 2009 as the outright winer of the Thumb Pump 300 ATV Festival.
