Rick Beer #998
Beery is back for 2010. After a successful 2009 season with 23 race meetings and 45 thousand kilometres covering 4 States with his pit crew in tow, Beery managed to rank himself as the second highest podium rider in the Can-am X-Team, not bad for an old fella.
Much to Beery’s disgust he turned the magic 45 and this happy event came just days before the 2009 ATV National Championships, forcing him to have to run in the Vets 45+ Class. Never the less Beery stood out on the track and shined, proving to the rest of the field that he was a forced to be reckoned with. Beery raced away undefeated, taking home the 2009, Vets 45+ Championship.

2010 would not be complete without the annual holiday to Alice Springs in June for the Finke Desert Race; this is Beery’s 9th run, and all aboard BRP ATV’s. Only this year will be even more memorable for Beery as his daughter Chloe (Beerzy) has entered the prestigious event on her Can-am 450. Beery hopes to add another podium to an already legendary list, including two Class 9 Quad wins.
Don’t let his age and good looks deceive you, when the gates drop and racing begins, Beery has the pace and is on a mission to win, Bring on 2010. Beery can be found under the Can-am X Team pit shade somewhere at a race track, call up and have a chat.
